Oreo Wins the Super Bowl

We’ve been fans of Oreo’s marketing, but the cookie maker was really on its game during the Super Bowl.

As you may have heard, the third quarter was uninterrupted by a blackout that knocked out half the lights for close to 40 minutes. Oreo’s social media team was quick to pounce, tweeting the following image with the message: “Power Out?” No Problem.

So, to sum up, on a day when companies paid upwards of 4 million dollars for 30 second commercials, the best ad of the day cost Oreo nothing.

    As for the cookie itself–best packaged-cookie that will ever exist.

    How easy is it to have at least 5 cookies with a cold glass of milk?!?!? Dangerous.

    Truth. I may have done some oreo and milk damage in the past.
