Animal Cruelty at Tyson Foods Supplier

Sharing is Caring...

This undercover video footage reveals some shocking animal cruelty and conditions at a pig breeding facility (Wyoming Premium Farms) owned by a supplier for Tyson Foods. I have to warn you, this is really difficult to watch.

I think most of us know there are a lot of bad things involved with factory farming on that scale, but the level of maliciousness and intentional cruelty in that video is just astounding. How can people be so evil?

What are your thoughts about this?

The people in the video are the real animals and should be caged. As a non-vegetarian, what are my options for eating “ethical meat”? Do I have to find a farm that has sound practices and only buy directly from them?

    That was so awful.

    I know, scary stuff.

I think you just have to inform yourself on the products you’re buying. There are some good suggestions here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/nicolette-hahn-niman/avoiding-factory-farm-foo_b_353525.html
