Cafe Du Parquet…Another Solid Eatery
Type of Cuisine: There is no specific cuisine here as they are catering to all the business people in the area…but being Italian owned means you will find a wide selection of Italian influenced dishes, sandwiches, pizzas, coffee…and the list goes on. They are also offering breakfast in the morning, sushi for lunches, they cater breakfast, lunch and dinner with a full online ordering system….this place is genius!
Where did you have it: Had it for the first time early this week when having a caffe latte with a co-worker before work…sitting by the window getting ready for a very hectic work day enjoying the view of the fountain La Joute at La place Jean-Paul-Riopelle (a Quebec Artist of International repute).
How much?: To my surprise the prices were incredibly reasonable, my caffe latte was less than $3, unheard of in this area! I had to go back for lunch after my co-worker explained the food to me…and I wasn’t dissapointed…I had a chicken cutlet sandwich, topped with ham slices, cheese, marinated eggplants, hot peppers, lettuce and tomatoes…then pressed…oh man I was in heaven…the total? Less than $6.50….there’s a reason this place is banging it out every single day…great fresh food…great prices and efficient serving structure…I enjoyed it so much I ate there for the rest of the week, so far sooooo gooooood!
I didn’t think to bring my camera, but I will be next time I go…which is probably sometime next week, I plan on being a regular here.
There is also a plethora of hot meals, cold meals, mix and match salad bar, cooked and raw vegetable buffet…this is my new favorite place, when I don’t have time to brown bag a lunch…I’m b-lining it for Cafe du Parquet.
Rate it 1 to 10 : Solid 8.5 out of 10 for price and quality, excellent job!
