Sharing is Caring...

You know you really shouldn’t but it’s just soooo easy…am I right or what?

We all know that fast food is bad for us, choc full of everything that makes food cheap and mostly the opposite of nutritious…we all know McDonald’s food doesn’t rot, and therefore can’t possibly be broken down in our stomachs…or something to that effect. The following FAST FOOD variety of, fried foods, tacos, poutine, chili dogs, sloppy joe’s, onion rings, hash browns, fish & chips, pizza, cheese fries, sausage mcmuffin sandwich, fried chicken & waffles, whoppers, big macs, the list is endless really with desserts and snacks on the go now on fast food menus the combinations and selections are virtually endless.

But the reality is we keep going back, otherwise these places would be closed for business or making drastic changes to their menus and offerings. Although some have, the reality is people keep going back for the same things, and I’m always astonished at how many people are waiting in line at the fast food chains, or in the drive through. I know there’s something about Big Mac that’s just so delicious, but you’re hungry an hour later, would be it be so hard for them to grill a real piece of meat and put it between those buns? I often think of what the original McD’s would be like, I imagine an oasis of flavour drenched in americana. Would be nice to go back and see what things were like back then…before Ray Kroc game along with his processing genius and revolutionized the classic American Diner. I mean there are still a few that are true to form like In n Out, Fat Burger, Five Guys, etc but nonetheless we still go back. Creatures of habit and comfort indeed.

Well that’s the only rationale I can come up with, What’s your take on this? Why do we go back to what’s so obviously not good for us (both the ex and the fast food… ๐Ÿ˜› )
