Blossom Kitchen Gadget
The word Blossom will always be seared into my mind for this horse crap:
I may be slightly biased then. Nevertheless, you have to be a bit skeptical when you stumble onto a kitchen gadget like the Blossom. The makers of this item claim it is “a shape-shifting, brain-teasing, fun silicon kitchen gadget that can be used as a coaster, trivet, hot pad, table decoration and more…Multiple Blossoms can be snapped together to create a larger design or increased functionality.”
This reminds me slightly of Mitch Hedberg‘s bit about Pringles: “I think Pringles’ initial intention was to make tennis balls. But on the day that the rubber was supposed to show up, a big truckload of potatoes arrived. But Pringles was a laid-back company. They said “Fuck it. Cut ’em up.” Question is, what was the initial intention here and is the result worth anything?
