The idea of vertical farming in a modern urban context first surfaced about 10 years ago. Then, it was just a dream. But over the past two years, the first prototypes have been developed.

We don’t often wonder why we have learned how to take care of ourselves and protect ourselves from the elements, but still leave our plants carelessly outside where we can’t do much more than hope for good weather.
