Pietro Ferrero, who was part of the family that runs Nutella, Tic Tacs, Ferrero Rocher and other awesome things sold worldwide, died on Monday. Mr. Ferrero was an avid cyclist and according to reports, he collapsed while cycling in South Africa. Some reports are now saying this may have been caused by a heart attack. He had been in South Africa to set up a factory for the company. He was 47.
Mr. Ferrero’s grandfather, who was also named Pietro, was the man who came up with the Nutella recipe, mixing in hazelnuts when the war made chocolate hard to find.
Goodnight, sweet prince…

RIP Mr Ferrero.
So sad…
